He\u2019s an expert in Apple\u2019s Logic Pro X software, and in this segment he demonstrates how to export files from a Logic session!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once you’ve finished a song in Logic, you’ll probably want to export the session files for mixing. You’ll do this by navigating to the File menu and coming down to Export.<\/p>\n

Here, you’ll have a few options to choose from depending on what you’re trying to export. In the case of preparing tracks for mixing, you’ll want to select “All Tracks as Audio Files,” or simply use the\u00a0keyboard shortcut “shift + command + E.”\u00a0<\/strong>A dialogue window will open where you’ll be able to fine tune to details of your export, including save location, file length, file type, and more.<\/p>\n

From the Range menu you’ll be able to choose whether your files are exported as the entire length of the project, trimmed off at the end of each track individual, or just from a selected cycle in the session. You’ll also be able to choose the save format, such as WAV, and bit depth. WAV will cover all of your needs, and you don’t need to worry about any bit depth other than 24 at this point.<\/p>\n

Logic also provides the ability to create a New Folder from the Export window to save the tracks. Once you’ve done so, you’ll be ready to hit the Export button!<\/p>\n
