He also teaches at the world-renowned Berklee College of Music.<\/p>\n<p>In this tutorial, he shows us <strong>how to create Clip Groups in Pro Tools!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Clip Group is best described as a &#8220;container&#8221; in which you can put multiple clips. They&#8217;re created easily, by selecting any number of clips you&#8217;d like to group, and pressing Option Command G on a Mac, or Alt Control G on Windows.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll notice that Clip Groups are also stored in the Clips menu. Here, you can double-click the newly created Clip Group and rename it to whatever represents the group.<\/p>\n<p>When clips are grouped, you can rearrange them together as a single unit, and you can also simultaneously clip gain them. Jon shows us how he uses Clip Groups to experiment with the arrangement on drums.
