This tutorial shows\u00a0<strong>how to make a new track and start\u00a0recording.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve downloaded Studio One software, chances are you want to start recording music! To do this you&#8217;ll need to add tracks to your session onto which you can record. <strong>The keyboard shortcut to open an Add Track dialogue box is simply &#8220;T.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From the Add Track window you&#8217;ll be able to customize a ton info about your track, including its name, color, the type of track, and more. Studio One very handily includes many presets depending on what instrument you&#8217;re recording too.<\/p>\n<p>Add a new audio track and make sure its input corresponds to whichever input you&#8217;re using on your interface. Record enable the track by clicking the big record button.
