Moses Schneider

Moses Schneider has worked with international acts such as Pixies and Nick Cave, as well as top-selling German bands Tocotronic and Kreator. He is also an acclaimed author, known for his e-book, “The Alternative Workbook — Or How To Pimp Your Practice Room”, which offers practical and concise advice for making great rock and pop recordings on a budget. In addition to teaching in the form of guest lectures at various colleges, Schneider summarizes his entire knowledge of live recording in his book. It is now mandatory reading for live recording. From positioning the band members in the recording room to positioning the mics – in the e-book, Schneider explains techniques to produce the best possible recordings without great expense as well as descriptions and sound samples. He shares his personal approach to producing and his practical experience, including recording the internationally renowned metal band Kreator.

Marc Daniel Nelson is a Grammy and French Academy Award nominated mixing
engineer, music producer and creative director. He has been mixing, producing and
managing creative content for over 20 years.
His musical credits include Fleetwood Mac, Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillat, Francesca
Battistelli, Eric Burdon, Ben Harper, Francesca Battistelli, Robert Duvall,
Ozomotli, Reik and more. As Protégé for both legendary producer / engineer Bill
Schnee and Ken Caillat, Marc has carried the torch for impeccable quality sound and
production.
His film credits include Solo, Blade Runner, The Vietnam War, Mulan, The
Expanse, Wild Horses, Point Break, No Manches Frida, Fractured, Amanda,
Father Figures, Ya, Ty, Vin, Vona and more. His creative management credits
include executive producing the 13 episode PBS television series, creating and
executive producing the national video campaign for Guitar Center and creative
directing for Alcon Sleeping Giant, ArtistMax and Warner Chappell PM.

Darrell Thorp is a 10x Grammy award winning (Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Switchfoot, Molotov, Beck) and a 3 time TEC Award winning Producer, Mixer, Engineer with over 22 years experience and many multi platinum and records to his discography.  Darrell moved to Los Angles in 1997 after a 4 year service in the U.S. Navy and started interning at smaller studios and eventually worked his way up to an Assistant Engineer at some of L.A.’s prestigious studios such as Track Record, Conway, and finally Ocean Way Recording.  Darrell had the pleasure of recording and mixing the new Foo Fighters album “Concrete And Gold” Engineering the new Twenty One Pilots LP “Trench” and Recording/Mixing on Beck’s “Colors”.

Darrell has also worked on two Television shows as the lead recording and mixing enginner.  The critically acclaimed From The Basement for seasons 1, 2 and 3 featuring Radiohead, Beck, The Dead Weather, The White Stripes, Foster the Poeple, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and more. Darrell was also involved with Off Main Street featuring Midlake and Thundercat.
